When Your Headliner Sales His Blog

So, what now? What if you had a person lined up to be your “opening act” for a new site you’re launching? The site was theoretically about interviewing bloggers, and the interview was already done.  Only one problem, in between the site launch and the interview, that person SOLD HIS BLOG lol. 

Yeah, I had someone lined up to be my first interview to go live when we open the site, and he has now sold his blog! It’s not as bad as it seems, but it’s pretty funny.  The thing is, the interview was VERY good. So, I’m trying to figure out what I want to do with it. I may offer it as a download in the RSS feed. I may send it out to the mailing list, not sure yet. What do you guys think?

Either way, I have plenty other folks to feature first, I just thought it was funny and that you may get a kick out of it. Our numbers are still growing, but not quite where I’d like them yet. So, if you know anybody, tell them about the site so we can start rolling out the interviews. If things work out as planned, you’ll LOVE the first interview.

Just wanted to update you all, we are very close to getting ready to roll.  I’ve got the recording process in place, actually I have a couple options.  But, I’m looking to record my first interview this week, and the first interview will go live in August, probably around the second week, we’ll see how it goes.

Again, if you got anyone you want to hear let me know,or if you want to be featured let me know.  Free pub for a week, and people get to hear you speak! :)  Just wanted to let you know what was going on, as once I start posting interviews I won’t be doing any other types of posts so as to maximize the exposure for each blogger.

I may add a newsletter on the site to keep you informed of site news that way. We’ll see. But, give me a shout and make sure you checkout my regular blog  where you’ll catch me talking about internet marketing for the average person.

I’m getting a pretty good list together….but, I’d like to know if you guys have anyone else you’d like me to contact, or you think would be interested in being featured on the site.

I’m wiling to look at various blogs and bloggers, and I’m sure you all know some that I am unfamiliar with or do not know about.

Don’t be modest, recommend yourself!

I have no problem with bloggers requesting to be featured.  It can mean some great exposure for your site once we get the interviews rolling, as each blogger will most likely bring with them their own traffic, or readers.  This will give others a chance to be introduced to another audience.
